The LightHiker Bedroll has undergone a few changes, see the "Detailed Description" for the details.
The new LightHiker Bedroll is a double layer IX quilt that can now be used as a Top Quilt or Under Quilt. It is covered with 1.1 ripstop nylon on the outside and black taffeta on the inside with a sewn in foot box. We have added tie out loops at the corners for suspension and a zipper on the inside for adding additional insulation, such as IX or any other synthetic insulation, even a piece of closed cell foam. We have also added a drawstring channel to the top to close up air gaps when used as a under quilt. It is a lightweight and economical alternative to down. The LightHiker is also an excellent supplement to your winter insulation system as a quilt/sleeping bag liner. 15.5 oz. 74 1/2" x 45" (at the widest point). Foot Pocket is 28"W x 15"D. We have also added Green to the color selection. Stuff sack included. Stock temp. rating is 40 degrees, additional IX inserts will be available soon. Colors are limited.
